Little Stony Creek falls over a high ledge; the irregular shape of the wall produces cascades behind the waterfall.

| Driving Directions | From US 460 in Pembroke (15 miles west of Blacksburg), head north on SR 623 for 3.5 miles to the well-marked parking lot. |
| Walking Directions | Take the trail from the parking lot 1/4 mile to a fork at a bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on the trail about 2 miles to the base of the falls (The trail straight from the fork also heads to the falls, but strays away from the stream on route). |
